Go to:      1. INTRODUCTION       |       2. INDEX       |        3. GUIDELINES for CONTRIBUTORS        |        4. MANAGEMENT BOOK

The BITrum glossary, planned as one of the first activities in the development of the BITrum project, essentially aims at serving as a tool for the clarification of concepts, theories and problems concerning information. Intending to embrace the most relevant points of view with respect to information, it is interdisciplinarily developed by a board of experts coming from a wide variety of scientific fields. At the same time, the glossary is conceived as the place where conceptual advancements and results from BITrum research are reflected.

This glossary site includes not only glossary contents (namely articles accepted by the editorial council, discussions, working proposals and entries constituting articles' raw material), but also tools to ease access to contents and the coordination of the collaborative edition work.
  • Regarding navigation facilities, you will find:
    • index in Spanish and English,
    • a string search box at the upper right side of any site page.
  • For collaborative edition:
    • Introduction (including methodology)
    • Guidelines for authors and editors
    • Administration book, where coordinators register the work being done and unfinished tasks.
  • In updates, the most relevant news are highlighted concerning both contents and management issues.
